Among them, a series of illustrations revisiting the covers of the main episodes alongside renowned artists. We were entitled to Tomb Raider: Underworld last month, now place at reboot from 2013.

The developers appealed to an essential video game illustrator, Yoshitaka Amano, to reimagine Lara croft. the character designer Japanese man with multiple caps and an arm-long CV is best known for his work on the series Final fantasy, and a therefore played the game of Crystal Dynamics by making a painting on canvas of which he has the secret. Its recognizable paw is found there at first glance, for the pleasure of the eyes. Note that the logo was added by the current artistic director of the franchise, Brenoch Adams.

Congratulations on 25 years of Tomb Raider. While working on this world famous game character Lara Croft, I thought about how to express her traits as a Japanese artist. I decided to create a sumi-e (ink painting) atmosphere with a proud Lara. I also added a solid cherry blossom petal background. Hope the game development teams and fans enjoy it.
