Nintendo did not skimp on free content for Mario Golf: Super Rush since its release. Toadette, New Donk City and ranked matches were added via version 2.0, while Koopa, Ninji and the circuits of Combe-aux-vents and Pikipalmes followed with 3.0. The publisher has deployed today a patch 4.0.0 which is once again full of additions.
the roster thus grows with the arrivals of Wiggler, a tall and powerful golfer, and Maskass, a more balanced Sunday sportsman. Two courses are also integrated: Shelltop Sanctuary and All-Star Summit. And there are especially two new modes that are available thanks to the update: Target Golf, which invites solo or multiplayer to aim at targets from a single starting point to earn points for getting closest to them, and One-On, One-Putt, which requires reaching the green then the hole in two strokes at most, an exclusively solo challenge.
Some elements of gameplay are balanced in passing: you can find the changelog and more details on what’s new in English at this address. Mario Golf: Super Rush is available from € 44.49 on Amazon.com.
