Halo Infinite: campaign gameplay, co-op and Forge modes really not for now and upcoming multi-teaser events

The campaign of Halo Infinite will land next month, but 343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios have decided to launch multiplayer in free-to-play in advance. It is available in beta for all on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S since Monday, a nice way to mark 20 years of Halo and Xbox.

In parallel with Battle Pass Premium, the multiplayer mode already made it possible to enjoy a special event around this anniversary with free cosmetic content to unlock. The developers had promised that the event Fracture: Tenrai would follow next week, and it will: it will launch this monday 22 november and will allow you to obtain, among other things, a samurai armor Tenrai (different from Yoroi already seen in the past). And for the rest, we will have the right to bangs HCS Spotlight with outfits inspired by the teams eSport from the scene Halo, Winter Contingency, Cyber Shodown and Tactical Ops, always with their own rewards to glean.

At the same time, Eurogamer spoke with Joseph Staten, Creative Director at 343 Industries, to talk about this two-part release. We learned some bad news in the process: the cooperative mode for the campaign and the mode Forge to customize maps will arrive later than announced. It had been said that they would be available with the Seasons 2 and 3, 3 and 6 months after launch, but the Season 1 going to last 6 months against the 3 initially planned, co-op mode will arrive around May 2022, and co-op mode Forge around August 2022, always with the Seasons following. Well, that’s according to the current objectives, because everything could change by then.

Joseph Staten: Yeah, back when we were talking about the Co-op Campaign and Forge, I said our goal was to release the Co-op Campaign in Season 2 and our goal is to broadcast Forge with Season. 3. Yes, we’re extending Season 1, so our goal is still what I said before, which is to release the cooperative campaign with Season 2 and Forge with Season 3. But these are still goals. These remain targets. And we can’t commit to any firm dates at this time, because as we’re seeing with this beta of multiplayer, other things could move up the priority stack for us. If it turns out that our progression system just isn’t working the way we expected, if we need to move some of those bigger boulders that I talked about earlier, we’ll make those decisions as a team. and will clearly communicate to our fans why we are doing certain things.

Otherwise, of gameplay in the countryside has been shared by several media this week including IGN, GameInformer and GiantBomb, for an overview of the mission The Conservatory, from a struggling boss fight Legendary, an additional objective or a portion of almost half an hour of the adventure.

The release date of Halo Infinite is set for December 8, 2021 on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S, and you can pre-order your copy for € 69.99 at Amazon.com.
